Their Session: On a beautifully cloudy autumn day topped off with some drizzle, Gina and Frank showed me around the Historic Smithville Village. I loved their comfort with each other and their happy personalities! I'd love to share some of my favorite images from their engagement session, but first, more about their love!
How they met: Gina and Frank met through match.com. Their first date was out to a restaurant together. They had dinner and talked until they were kicked out at closing time! They’ve been together for over 5 years. Their wedding day will be exactly 5 1/2 years to the day of their first date! How adorable is that?!
Their love: When I asked what made Gina fall in love with Frank, she shared, “his love of family. There is nothing he wouldn’t do for any of us. I have 3 kids from my first marriage and so does he. We also have 3 grandchildren. So his love and devotion of family is one of his most wonderful traits that I fall in love with over and over again.” UHG SO CUTE! Gina’s favorite part of being with Frank is the way he makes her feel. “He always makes me feel like I am the most beautiful person in the world no matter what.” Cue the tears!
Frank said that he first fell in love with Gina’s smile. He loves the easy way they can talk to each other. He said he knew she was the one from their very first date!!! Frank proposed one night when he and Gina went for a walk on the beach before they went to dinner. Gina said it was right before sunset and it was beautiful! Frank's favorite part of being with Gina is the way she makes him feel loved. A perfect date for them could be a romantic dinner or even just spending the day at the beach together. They’re also happy staying home and having drinks by the fire. Gina shared, “It’s all the perfect date.” These two sound like the cutest couple, don’t they?!!?!
