I am excited to start blogging as I fall deeper into shooting things that I love. I would be nothing without the unhindered love and support from my husband, family, and close friends. So let’s get started!
I am looking forward to working more with people. I grew up an extremely shy and introverted person. Not sure if it had something to do with being in my older brother’s shadow (he was and still is quite the character)! I remember crying while giving presentations in middle school because I was just so terrified. As time went on, I got slightly less uncomfortable. Something happened after college. I think I just realized that there wasn’t that much to be afraid of. I had spent my early years mostly photographing objects. I am still drawn to detail, texture, color, interesting composition, etc. That will always be apart of me. But I would love to explore the things that catch my eye with people too. I want to capture the beauty of people’s personalities, or the strength of their love.
I have recently bought a 50mm f/1.8 lens and I am in love with it! I am having so much fun on photoshoots with my husband, getting dream-like images! Modeling is a whole new concept to him, but he is quickly learning! Check out some examples below!
